Who Benefits?

**COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)** COPD affects an estimated 55 million Indians. What Does a Session Include?

**Airway Clearance** — Active cycle of breathing, huffing, and postural drainage help clear secretions — common in COPD, bronchiectasis, and post-operative states.

**Graded Exercise** — Starting from the patient's current baseline and progressively increasing intensity. Walking programs, cycling, and functional movement tasks chosen based on goals and home environment.

The Evidence

Cochrane systematic reviews show that pulmonary rehabilitation for COPD significantly improves exercise capacity, reduces breathlessness, and improves quality of life. For cardiac patients, supervised exercise rehabilitation reduces cardiovascular mortality by around 25%.
